Qtum Overzicht
Qtum is een open source Blockchain-project dat is ontwikkeld door de in Singapore gevestigde Qtum Foundation. Qtum is een hybride blockchain-applicatieplatform. De kerntechnologie van Qtum combineert een vork met bitcoin-kern, een accountabstractielaag die meerdere virtuele machines mogelijk maakt, inclusief de Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) en consensusconclusie om industriegebruiksgevallen aan te pakken. We denken dat dit Smart Contracts en Decentralized Applications mogelijk maakt om op een vertrouwde basis te draaien en tegelijkertijd een robuuste omgeving voor ontwikkelaars te bieden. De onderliggende technologie gebruikt een "Account Abstract Layer", die fungeert als een brug tussen het EVM en het model voor niet-uitgegeven transactie-uitvoeringen van Bitcoin Core. Er zullen Oracles en Datafeed-functionaliteit zijn, waarmee ontwikkelaars Smart Contracts kunnen maken die zijn opgebouwd rond vertrouwde informatiebronnen.
